This page explains how Groupons, Gift Certificates, free pass’s, and/or other coupons are treated and ticketed. Please read carefully.

We have not worked with Groupon for about 3+ years now. We are no longer accepting reservations online with Groupon codes. If you have an old Groupon and would like to use it please email us at thechautauquabelle@gmail.com
Please note: We will only accept what you paid for the Groupon, NOT the deal. Example: If you find a Groupon from 10 yrs ago the amount paid will be applied to your reservation and you would have to pay the difference.

To reserve online with anything that’s not a Groupon, please choose the Historical Cruise of your choice. After you have selected the number of people you are reserving for enter your code for each ticket under Do you have a gift certificate, company Code or promo code? For the holiday special 2 for 1 or 4 for 2 there is one unique code that you can apply to each ticket.
Example: If you purchased a ‘gift certificate 2 for 1 special’ enter your unique code for each ticket.

Sure! You are limited to the amount of tickets you can purchase using the code. Example if you bought or received a 4 for 2 you can use your unique code up to 4 times on any historical cruise throughout the summer.

If you purchased or received ,as a gift, a gift certificate for a historical cruise on the Chautauqua Belle you will find your codes(s) in the email provided to you.
If you won a raffle or contest please contact the organization you won the gift certificate codes from to receive the codes.

To reserve online please choose the Historical Cruise of your choice. After you have selected the amount of people you are reserving for please fill out all the information asked and enter your Gift Certificate code in the section: “Do you have a promo code or Gift Certificate?” The code will be on your confirmation email under “Your Gift Certificate(s) for….”

Yes, you may redeem your gift certificate in person! Please have your gift Certificate ready for boarding! We always recommend printing out any gift certificates ahead of time or screen shot them on your phone! Service can be spotty at times.

Of course! All re-booked reservations will be charged a re-booking fee of $5.00 per ticket. Please send an email to thechautauquabelle@gmail.com with your original reservation date, reservation number, the date you would like to rebook to and a cell phone so that we may contact you. Please note this generally takes 72 hours. Have your credit card ready when you need to rebook.

No! These are NOT a reservation. In order to obtain a confirmed reservation you must do so online at our website. You can make a reservation online by entering the number on your Gift Certificate, coupon, or free pass in the promo code section!
You must bring your free pass or coupon with you, or your reservation is not valid. NO EXCEPTIONS!

No…free passes or coupons are treated the same as a walk up customer at the gangway. We board those with reservations first, cash and gift certificates then credit card payers at the gangway next. You may make a reservation using our online booking service. YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION. Just as in past years you may arrive 15 minutes ahead scheduled departure. Only if we are sold out would you not make the boat. Passengers with a coupon can reserve their seats online, you may also purchase a lunch at that time, for the cruise you would like.

We must redeem all other coupons at boarding. Please bring your coupon, or free pass and if you make a reservation please bring your ticket.

Of course! Please have it ready though. We recommend that you screenshot the Gift Certificate-bar-code on your phone the night before or on your way to the Belle. That way you have it already saved and you will not have to worry about cell service. T-Mobile, Sprint and other small carriers have limited service in the Chautauqua area. You may not be able to load your ticket on your phone as you are boarding, so please have it ready before hand.

Regular Gift certificates can be purchased anytime of the year! Our discounted gift certificates are available to purchase a limited time during the holiday season. Check our website during the holiday season for updates on gift certificate sales!

We gladly support registered nonprofits with 2 for 1 tickets for your Chinese auction or door prize! Please email your request with a copy of your exempt certificate. Sorry, without this information we cannot issue free tickets under any circumstances.

Yes, you may use your free coupon, pass or gift certificate for any historical cruises. Please read all fine print for details, please pay close attention to any expiration dates!

We cannot accept expired coupons, we apologize for an inconvenience. Please plan accordingly for your summer trips before they expire, do not wait till the last trips of the summer/year.

No, drinks are not included with any coupons. We have a cash bar on board!

Please check the calendar and the information box on our homepage the morning that you wish go, there may be last minute changes in the departure port due to winds or weather. We do not go out in forecast thunderstorms, winds forecast in excess of 20 MPH or heavy rain.

We delayed or cancelled only 6 out of 200+ trips in 2021 and 3 out of 250 trips in 2022. We close, cancel, or delay trips only as a last resort…due to weather, maintenance or low passenger count. Make sure you are checking the weather for Chautauqua, NOT where you live. Please check our home page – message box- after 9 am on the day you have a reservation or wish to go for up to the minute schedule information. We constantly monitor weather, including future weather. If we see a thunderstorm coming thru in an hour, we will delay the trip, even if it is sunny and nice right before. Safely is always our #1 priority. Please remember we are a small business, and when we are not running we do not make money. Our crew loves being out on the lake and wants to be out there just like you do!
